   Anybody who's been in ear shot of me since New 52 started knows this is my favorite comic coming out of DC. While I miss Kenneth Rocafort's artwork, Julius Gopez's art really works for the story. And this was such a great Roy-centered issue. Roy's wit and sarcasm keep me grinning through the first half. Nothing big and serious happens this issue, outside of bringing all ours heroes back into a central location.


   I'll admit that I'm a little torn lately, I love the Roy and Kori dynamic, but I have to admit, I really really enjoy the play back and forth between Roy and Jade. It's just so much fun. Mostly because Jade is so CRAZY!


   I expect the NEXT issue to be a game-changer for the trio. Or maybe it'll just return things to status quo, more or less. There's still a lot of patching up that needs to happen between Roy and Kori, but I really think they work well together and I'd like to see them continue to work at their... relationship? Yeah, I'll call it that.

   If you're a Roy fan, I suggest picking up this issue. Otherwise, you're not missing much. The entire issue can be summed up in "Roy gets into the city. Kori arrives too. They're both thrown in jail." Other that, nothing really happened. They didn't get through to Jason, so nothing changed. However, this issue did just further my desire for a League of Assassins book. They've obviously put a lot of work into these characters and it pays off. Their fight scenes with Roy are a lot of fun. Can't wait for issue #24!

Spider-Man vs Batman

So we've got two more big Superhero movies coming out. The Spider-Man reboot. And! The Dark Knight Rises. I'm not anywhere near as excited about these two as I have been The Avengers. But I've been hearing all kinda of "Batman's gonna kick Spider-Man's ass!" and "Batman's gonna blow The Avengers out of the water!" And I'm here to throw in my 2cents. No way in hell is Batman gonna reach the Avengers. But I will argue over Spider-Man. Spider-Man is a far more kid-friendly franchise than this Batman trilogy has been. Spider-Man has seen a lot more advertising than DKR has. DKR will forever be the sequel to Heath Ledger's last movie. It might do better than the Crow sequels, but will suffer from the same stigmas. It will forever be compared to the one before it, Bane will forever be measured up against Joker, and it will always been seen lacking. Unless the guy playing Bane bites it before the movie releases. SPOILERS: Review: Superman/WonderWoman #1 - Dexter #4 - Lyesmith

Superman/Wonder Woman #1 Writer: Charles Soule Artist: Tony S. Daniel I haven't ever been a big supporter of these two as a couple. I just didn't think they meshed well together; and I grew up with Lois Lane being the love of Clark Kent's life. It's like watching your Dad go on a date with a woman who's not your Mother, but is instead your favorite teacher or something. You love everyone involved, you're just not sure you love what the way they're doing things. As far as Diana goes, I actually loved her with Bruce in the Justice League cartoons. I thought it was a fun a dynamic, they were similar in their ways of thinking enough that I could see the draw, the attraction. Diana and Clark are too different. Diana is a warrior. Clark isn't. But that's just my opinion and has nothing to do with this comic! Which, by the way, is actually amazing! And it makes me think that maybe, just maybe, this relationship might not be as bad as I think it is. Clark is
